Full time BDM – Warragul/Drouin

A fantastic opportunity has been created for the right Business Development Property Manager to join a boutique modern & friendly team of professionals in Warragul and Drouin.
You will be working alongside a team of experienced, vibrant, professional, and capable staff, all with solid real estate experience.

The Role:

  • Maintain regular, close contact with current & prospective clients
  • Maintain Agentbox CRM & PropertyMe database accurately
  • Keep landlord database up to date – add prospective landlords
  • Provide feedback to all landlords of vacant properties – weekly written report via Inspect Real Estate App (IRE) daily updates following property inspections
  • Ensure all authorities for vacant new business properties are in date
  • Conduct all new business rental appraisals including preparing pre & post appraisal pack
  • Provide follow up to all appraisals within 24 hours of conducting and then on a weekly basis
  • Prepare and deliver (post, email, letterbox drop) to investors in the area and any owners with vacant property
  • Conduct database calls on a weekly basis
  • Meet with salespeople individually to obtain referrals and/or additions to prospective landlord database
  • Prepare rental appraisal letters for all properties on sales stock list
  • Attend weekly sales team inspection caravan and be familiar with all sales listings
  • Provide recommendations to new landlords regarding any required maintenance or presentation, prior to finalising any prospective
  • Advertise vacant properties & check property advertising for accuracy
  • Order up & down For Lease boards
  • Attend to mid-week Open for Inspections if required
  • Compile and check all application forms for new business properties then pass to assigned PM for approval to present to the landlord

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Customer service focused: committed to providing exceptional customer service across all channels – written, phone, and face to face.
  • Communication: the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, varying communication styles depending upon the audience.
  • Attention to detail: excellent attention to detail and written skills when communicating with others, both internally and externally.
  • Commerciality: the ability to apply knowledge in a practical, commercial manner.
  • Teamwork: willingness to assist and support others as required and get on with team members.
  • Time management/organisation: accomplish objectives effectively within the time frame given, and carry out administrative duties within the portfolio in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Computer literacy is essential
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
  • Proficiency with PropertyMe (Industry Software) is mandatory
  • Working knowledge of Industry CRM & Portal systems is essential
  • Experience with Agentbox/Inspect Real Estate/Maintenance Manager would be advantageous

Experience :

  • A minimum of two years’ experience as a Property Manager or comparable industry experience
